The manufacturer rates this filter up to 2,500 gallons, and chances are if the pond isn't loaded too heavily, it could do the job.

This filter can be shipped with no DynaMax blower, but you would be making a big mistake to order it without the blower. Why? We consider it ABSOLUTELY imperative that the bead-cake can be completely disrupted during backwash, and ESPECIALLY with the smaller bead filters, air disruption is extremely important.

Our Opinion: For ponds up to 1800 gallons

You may order the Aquadyne 1.1 cf model with the bulkhead all ready in place, in case you change your mind later. If you changed your mind later all we'd do is ship you the blower and it's preplumbed riser and you'd screw it into the bulkhead. Presto.

You may also order the 1.1 cf AquaDyne with the DynaMax air blower in place, complete as shown above.
