| Sequence Pumps
These pumps are widely acclaimed and have been in use in the US for years and years. No newcomer. The wet ends are FNPT threaded which means that the usual PVC fittings at the boxlots will fit on this pump and make integration easy. The housing is an industrial grade plastic reinforced with glass. (Fancy for fiberglass) and almost unbreakable. Motors have thermal overload protection. They have proper enclosures for protection from dirt and debris, because they were designed to be used in the weather. They're fan cooled motors which removes heat and extends motor life. The motors have an excellent reputation for being very quiet. All units are handmade in the USA.
Do not submerge the
Sequence pump. But, If you intend to run these motors outside and
*above* the water level, you should install a SWING check valve so
that when the pump turns off, the prime is not lost. This pump will not
pull a prime above the water line. You will have to prime the pump
above a check valve which will then retain the prime. Plumbed outside
the pond but below the water level, you will find this pump primes
nicely and moves a lot of water for a little money.
NOTE:
The prices below DO NOT INCLUDE the strainer basket! Sequence pumps are
not normally sold with Strainer basket in place. See image above!
Sequence has discontinued the "Pro" Line, with the three year warranty and so, they are giving a THREE year warranty on these regular pumps!!!
